Sadly all the on-site accommodation is full, so the only option is to stay in one of the hostels or hotels listed below.
For the places listed below, it would be a great help to others if you could let me know if you do contact a hotel and they are full, or the prices are wrong. if you let me know I'll update the website. This could save a great deal of phoning around! it@amma.org.uk
Hostels
There are a number of hostels around King’s Cross Station, aimed mainly at students and travellers. Prices for these start at around £15 per bed in a dormitory. The last train from the Alexandra Palace station (about 10 minutes walk downhill from the Palace) leaves at 00:10 and takes 17 minutes. Then the hostels are around 5 minutes walk from there.
If you miss that train there are buses leaving at 00:20 (2 buses, total 33 mins), 00:25 I1 bus, 35 mins) 00:50 (2 buses, 30 mins), 01:16 (2 buses and a walk, 34 mins). Then a gap till the trains start again at 04.35. Coming back to the Palace is a long walk up hill from the station, but the W3 bus from Wood Green station stops by the rail station to save you the walk.

This is an 800 bed hostel over 6 floors with impressive facilities. Beds in a dormitory start at £15. Each dormitory has lockers (bring your own padlock and towel), there is 24/7 access, laundry, bar, chill out area, continental breakfast etc. Book online and you can pay on arrival (no deposit needed). Dormitories are mixed or female only. Groups could book private rooms for little more than dormitory rates.

Wonderfully clean, this modern hostel is located directly opposite the prestigious British Library, a five-minute walk to Kings Cross / St. Pancras station.
2009 Price: Dormitory price is from £22 each in a 4 – 6 bedded room,

Located on a quiet, pretty square a short walk from both Great Portland Street underground station (Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines) and Warren Street underground station (Northern and Victoria lines), this clean and pleasant hostel, is a 6-minute bus ride from Kings Cross / St. Pancras station where the tube (Piccadilly Line) will take you to Woodgreen, from where you take a W3 bus to Alexandra Palace (total journey from Kings Cross a little over half an hour). Last trains and tubes from Woodgreen to central London are around midnight. After that, night bus N91 - returning from Woodgreen - stops at Euston, about a 15 minute walk back to the hostel (or take another bus west from Euston to within blocks of the hostel). Night bus N29 - also from Woodgreen - stops on the corner of Hampstead Road and Euston Road opposite Warren Street station – about five minutes’ walk from the hostel.

A student hostel across the street from Hendon tube station. Very basic, but clean and cheerful. Quite far from the venue, but reachable by two
night buses or easily by tube and bus during the day. Prices differ on weekdays / weekends, etc., so please check first.
During day, Hendon is on the Northern line (Edgware branch) which takes you to Kings Cross/St. Pancras rail and tube station. From there you can take a train to Alexandra Palace station or a tube to Woodgreen and, in either case, then take the W3 bus to the actual venue. At night you’d need to go to Woodgreen tube station (the W3 doesn’t run late at night) and take night bus N29 from stop G towards Trafalgar Square, but get off at Camden Town Station (stop K). Average bus time is 35 minutes. From there take night bus N5 towards Edgware and get off at Hendon Central tube station (average time 20 minutes). 2007 Prices: Single room from £23 per night. Double room from £28 per night.

night.
